Vince Leggiere started his musical career playing trumpet and guitar in elementary school and began playing the bass guitar at the age of fourteen. He went off to the Crane School of Music located in Potsdam, NY in 1979 to pursue and complete a Double major music degree in Bass performance and Musical Studies.

Vince Leggiere - Bassist

While in school, Vince honed his skills on both the Upright and Electric bass in all the major music styles: Classical, Jazz, Blues and Rock. He played bass for The Potsdam College Jazz Ensemble and toured and recorded an album with them.

After many years of extensive performing and session work, Vince landed a gig-playing bass for Blues Great Joe Louis Walker. While touring the world with Joe, he had the opportunity to share the stage with many other Music Notables. Such as: J. Geils, Ronnie Earl, Eric Bibb, Duke Robbilard, David Maxwell, and the Texas Horns. Vince also had live performances on Don Odell’s Legends TV show and Bill Wax Sirius Radio Program.

Now that Vince is playing with John D’Amato, he is entering a “comfortable” stage in his career. Playing now is more fun than eve, and their playing styles complement one another, creating a rich, electric blues sound rarely found in a three-piece band
